60th BIRTHDAY

Dear Distinguished,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to extend you and your family a warm invitation to my upcoming birthday celebration. I am blessed and super excited to mark my diamond jubilee, and It would be an honor to have you join me as I celebrate this special occasion.
As you may know, I have recently launched Akogun Peak Foundation, a nonprofit organization to help less privileged youths gain access to science and technology education.
Starting with Ijebu Imusin, Ogun State as our first area of focus, we will build our first school, Abdul-Rasak Ayinde Olaitan Asegere Ogunmowo STEM School, it will be a standard campus equipped with modern classroom infrastructures such as computers, libraries, electricity, etc.
We will also ensure that certified teachers and materials are available to motivate interest in learning coding, computer programming, web development, data science, cyber security, and many more.
In addition, our program will help the youths to receive financial assistance and access to scholarship opportunities that will enable them to pursue technology-related courses in higher institutions.
Furthermore, we intend to create awareness and promote the economic value of education as well as interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects amongst youths from various backgrounds.
I am passionate about my charity and as someone who has been fortunate enough to have a support system and resources, I feel a strong sense of responsibility to use my privilege to help young people who are under-resourced find their path.
To this end, I have decided to use my birthday celebration as an opportunity to raise funds for Akogun Peak Foundation . Instead of receiving gifts, I am asking you to consider donating towards our cause. I believe that together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of many people.
Any amount, resources, and materials, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go towards making a positive impact in our community.

ABOUT ME
(Akogun) Hakeem Akintunde Ogunmowo’s foray into technology was via telecoms that began many years ago when he collaborated with Global Communications Services, Inc. a New Jersey, USA-based company to build satellite links between Nigeria, USA, and DRC using VOIP technology to terminate voice and data across the continents. This made him one of the pioneers that brought this telecommunication technology into Nigeria.
As a child, Akogun had always dreamt of building a structure that would cause other people to marvel at the creativity of humans. This prompted him to take courses on architectural drafting at Trade Technical College, Los Angeles.
Akogun’s love for art and good designs lead to the birth of his award-winning architectural design and build company, Summer Bloom Homes which he heads alongside a team of other skilled professionals. SBH would later go on to become one of the best architectural design and build companies, with a good clientele base in Los Angeles CA.
